The festival that celebrates dance as a universal expression that speaks to everyone across languages, ages and interests.SWOP is about swopping, i.e.
exchange for life!
Swoppe performances, ideas and knowledge across regional, national and international borders!Told through the body, the festival gives people of all ages great artistic experiences.We have put together a fantastic program for audiences of all ages with dance performances from Denmark and Europe.
Whether you are 1, 6 or 17 years old, SWOP has a show to suit.
And they are all suitable for adults too.At this years festival, you can experience ideas about the weather and the climate, about connectedness and about growing, community bonding, transport dance in the streets, ideas about being a child and young person in a world of norms and frameworks that you can challenge or turn completely upside down.
And SWOP also offers workshops, concerts, dance films, SWOP dance and a professional seminar.SWOP is held every two years and has been around since 2012.The tickets are free and must be booked either directly in the app via the link or at aabendans.dk.Find all performances and the venues directly in the app, where you can also collect your favorites in a list.
